Bloggers who go extended periods without posting often offer an excuse. I won't as this assumes either the blog has some sort of importance or a following -- neither of which seems appropriate in my case.

doc, I originally upped the Romantics track a semi-tone, so to knock the Cardigans down a couple seems odd in that regard. I did mess around with it after your comment and seem to think this sounds the best as is. Maybe my ears deceive me.
I tried it as you noted, maybe you're right the key is better, but I think it's as you say, the vocals just sound too weird at that degree of pitch change for each. Oh well.

happen to have both tracks.matched them at -2 +2 lovefool vs.talking. problem is there's a lot of shifts in between.:(
